The fine print

PRIVACY POLICY

Effective August 11, 2026

This site belongs to Gillian Meyers, doing business as Magic in the Making. I keep things simple here, including what I do with your information. The short version: I collect only what you give me, I use it only to work with you, and I never sell it.

What I collect

When you fill out the inquiry form, I receive your name, email address, and whatever you write in your message. I don’t collect payment information through this site. Like most websites, my hosting provider automatically logs basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

How I use it

To respond to your inquiry, deliver the work you hire me for, and keep records I’m legally required to keep. This site doesn’t use analytics or advertising trackers.

What I don’t do

I don’t sell or rent your personal information. I don’t share it with third parties except the service providers who make this site run (hosting, email, payments), and only as needed to do that.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses only cookies that are essential to make it work; nothing follows you around the internet. I honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals from your browser; if your browser sends one, any non-essential tracking is turned off for you.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you, and to opt out of any sale or sharing (I don’t do either). California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA. To exercise any of them, email me at meyersgi@outlook.com and I’ll respond within the timeframe your state’s law requires, and in any case within 45 days. I won’t treat you differently for asking.

Data retention and security

I keep inquiry emails and client records only as long as I need them for the work and for legal or tax purposes, then delete them. Data is stored with reputable providers who use industry-standard security. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but I take reasonable measures to protect what you share.

Children

This site is for adults running businesses. I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, I’ll update the date at the top. Questions: meyersgi@outlook.com.
