TERMS OF SERVICE
Effective August 11, 2026
These terms cover your use of this website and, at a high level, how I work. Individual projects are governed by a separate written agreement; if that agreement and these terms ever conflict, the agreement wins.
Using this site
You’re welcome to browse, read, and reach out. Don’t misuse the site: no scraping, no attempting to break it, no using my content or client work to train or market something of your own without permission.
Scope of services
I provide strategy, copywriting, design, and website and platform builds. Every engagement is defined in a written proposal or agreement that states what’s included, what isn’t, timelines, and the number of revision rounds. Work outside that scope is quoted separately.
Payment
Payments aren’t collected through this website. Projects begin with a deposit of 50%, with the balance due per the payment schedule in your agreement. Invoices are due within 14 days. Late payments may pause work and accrue a late fee of 1.5% per month. Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun.
Ownership of the work
When your project is paid in full, you own the final deliverables: the site, the copy, the design as delivered. I keep ownership of my working files, processes, and any pre-existing tools I bring to the project, and I keep the right to show the work in my portfolio unless we agree otherwise in writing. Third-party assets (fonts, stock images, plugins, platform subscriptions) are licensed under their own terms, and those licenses are yours to maintain.
Your responsibilities
You confirm that any materials you give me (text, images, logos, data) are yours to use, and you’re responsible for the accuracy of the content you approve. After handoff, maintaining the site, its hosting, and its legal pages is yours unless we have an ongoing arrangement.
Limitation of liability
The work is provided as described in your agreement. To the fullest extent the law allows, I’m not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (lost profits, lost data, business interruption), and my total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid me for the project in question. Nothing here limits liability that can’t legally be limited.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California. I may update these terms from time to time; the date above tells you when they last changed. Questions: meyersgi@outlook.com.
